Cookie Policy
This cookie policy describes the small files this site stores in your browser, what each category does, and how to turn them off. A cookie is a short piece of text a site asks your browser to keep so it can recognise the same visit again.
Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Can it be blocked? |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Cart contents, checkout session, security tokens and the age confirmation flag | No; the store cannot function without them |
| Preference | Remembers choices such as dismissed notices and preferred sort order | Yes, with some loss of convenience |
| Analytics | Aggregate counts of page views and traffic sources, with no advertising profile built | Yes |
Age confirmation
One essential cookie stores the fact that you confirmed you are 18 or older, so the age gate does not appear on every page. It contains no personal details and it is not shared for marketing. Clearing your browser storage simply means you will be asked again.
Analytics
Analytics cookies tell us which guides get read and where shoppers leave the checkout. The data is looked at in aggregate, so we can see that a page was viewed rather than who viewed it. We do not build advertising audiences from it and we do not sell it.
Third parties
The payment provider and the email service that sends order confirmations may set their own cookies or similar identifiers when you reach their part of the checkout. Their handling of that data is covered by their own policies, which are shown at the point of payment.
Managing cookies
Every mainstream browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings, usually under a privacy or site data heading. Blocking essential cookies will break the cart and the checkout. Private or incognito windows discard most cookies when you close the window.
Do not track signals
Browser do-not-track signals are not interpreted consistently across the industry. Because our analytics are aggregate and we do not run advertising profiles, we treat all visitors the same way: minimal collection, no cross-site advertising cookies.
Changes
If we add a cookie category, this page will be updated with what it does and how to opt out before it is deployed.
